Trust records that a trustee can hand over.
Trust bookkeeping, distribution records, trustee reporting, and Form 1041 preparation. When GHL is engaged for both, the return and the annual records come from the same set of books.
Trust Bookkeeping and Trust Tax Preparation (Form 1041) are separate services. A trustee can engage GHL for either one or for both. The work and the fees are written in the Engagement Letter before work begins. GHL does not create trusts, draft trust documents, interpret their terms, or give legal advice. It can introduce the trustee to an attorney or advisor who does.
How a trust year moves
- Trust activity
- Books and categorized records
- Distributions and supporting documentation
- Form 1041 and beneficiary reporting
- Trustee-ready annual records
